“EI”, “UI”, and “3UI” laminated or cut strip core AC and DC inductors, chokes, and AC reactors are designed for power filtering, conditioning, protection, and energy storage applications. They are available with power ratings from 1 VAr up to 500 kVAr, currents up to 3000 A (higher on request), and switching frequencies up to 5 kHz.
All designs use dry-type insulation systems in standard temperature classes. IP00 open construction units can be supplied with enclosures up to IP23 or IP54, or with fully customised housings. Cooling options include natural air or forced air configurations, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
